THE RICHMOND PADDLE CUP
Our 2021 race beneficiary is the James River Association (JRA), whose mission is to be the guardian of the James River. They provide a voice for the river and take action to promote conservation and responsible stewardship of its natural resources. James River Association achieves these goals through their core programs - Advocacy, Education, Community Conservation, the James RiverKeeper Program, and through Watershed Restoration.
SURFRIDER FOUNDATION
RICHMOND COMMITTEE
Last year, we took up the opportunity to help the Surfrider Foundation – Virginia Beach Chapter gain some traction here in Richmond, VA. We are a big supporter of their mission to promote the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. We lead clean water clean-ups efforts throughout the year to try and keep the James River as healthy and clean as possible. If you are interested in joining the Richmond Committee, please reach out to us and explore the various ways you can help keep our waterway’s clean and enjoyable for everyone!
